YOU have a deeply meaningful purpose
I recently bought Louie Giglio's Indescribable book to read with my daughter, Ellie. It is a devotional about God and science. After reading some interesting facts, it got me thinking about space.
For instance, did you know:
It's estimated that there are 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe—each ranging in size from 10,000 light-years to hundreds of light-years.
One million Earths could fit inside the sun – and the sun is considered an average-size star.
If you could fly a plane to Pluto, the trip would take more than 800 years!
The Milky Way galaxy is 105,700 light-years wide. It would take a modern spacecraft 450,000,000 years to travel to the center of our galaxy!
We know more about Mars and our Moon than we do about our oceans. (This one blows my mind 🤯)
Space is crazy! And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
God made all of it with just the breath of his mouth!
I wanted you to know that the same God who thought up all of the galaxies` thought you up, too.
He not only thought of you but also thought you were a good idea.
You are more remarkable than 2 trillion galaxies.
Creating you was fun for God.
Watching you be you brings God delight.
You have a deeply meaningful purpose.
The next time you experience self-doubt or an insecure moment, remind yourself of this truth.❣️
